Waverley called at the new pier, for the first time, on Monday 27 July 2009. Although the pier is not yet finished, the George Leslie construction team had made a narrow path down the pier to enable Waverley passengers to get on and off. The ship arrived at 1230 and left about 20 minutes later with three loud blasts of the horn!
